My Favourite Church Hymns

I wanted to list out my three most favourite church hymns. Here's my favourite one - my most loved hymn of all. Will post the next two very soon.

Psalm 42:1 - "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God."

As The Deer - written by Martin J. Nystrom

As the deer panteth for the water,
So my soul longs after You.
You alone are my heart's desire,
And I long to worship You.

Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my heart's desire,
and I long to worship You.

I want You more than gold or silver,
Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy giver
And the apple of my eye.

Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my heart's desire,
and I long to worship You.

You're my friend, and You are my brother,
Even though You are a King.
I love You more than any other
So much more than anything.

Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my heart's desire,
and I long to worship You.

New Blog On WordPress

I have been wanting to try out WordPress since quite some time now and explore the additional features and options it offers over Blogger.

Read my posts on WordPress at nevillepereira.wordpress.com - I am going to use both, WordPress and Blogger for a while until I decide which one I want to hold on to.

Right now I just feel so comfortable with Blogger (I read a lot more than I post) but I must see what makes WordPress any different.

Shiksha - Proud To Be An Important Part

Shiksha Foundation finally launched today October 15, 2008. It's been months of planning and discussion with the core members of the team. Our efforts finally paid off. It feels really wonderful to be a part of such a noble cause.
